Recently on my radio show and I chatted about 'being enough' and was so saddened as to how many people feel inadequate and not enough. The response completely blown me away. I received so many phone calls, emails and whatsapp messages. I want to note this wasn’t a post to encourage compliments, (thank you for the love always) but rather to share as my journey with my weight and body image has been something I have struggled with for as long as I can remember.
This past weekend we celebrated the twin bears sweet and scared little lives with a party at home. Of course the discussion of what cakes they wanted was a serious yet animated conversation. Lula very swiftly announced she would love a princess cake and Rocco swayed but finally requested a Raphael ninja turtle cake. Sharon from Velveteen Confectioneries took one look at a picture reference and produced these magnificent masterpieces. Thank you for making their little hearts sing.

Its no secret that when it comes to cooking, baking and catering I am not the one for the job. Every celebration that I host at home is beautifully catered for by Blue Strawberry. Their food is fresh, scrumptious and beautifully presented. It's a running joke that people only come to our parties for the food.
If you are looking for some down time with the family, then the picture book setting of Bellwood Cottages is the spot for you.
Beautiful self catering cottages looking onto the most breathtaking landscape, dotted with cows, horses and sky for as far as the eye can see. My kids best is either going for a boat ride around the dam or hunting for gnomes.
This past Friday we bundled the kids into the car and headed off to Silver Hill Lodge in the Kamberg. We arrived in the dark and quickly made a fire, unpacked and settled fireside with a glass of wine and bowl of soup. I couldn't wait for morning to come to see where we were.
Oh my soul nothing could have prepared me for the sun dappled mountain range that greeted me face on from my bed. We spent 2 glorious days tucked away and the kids had an absolute jol exploring the country side, boating, fishing, climbing, jumping, lying on blankies in the toasty midlands sun and then all snugly next to the fire. A firm favourite was meeting Sir Lancelot the miniature horse, such a friendly fellow.
The boys from Rubber Duc have put together a really classy video for their latest single - and what's more, Jane Linley-Thomas makes an appearance!
The new single from the Rubber Duc cuties is here!
Covering Taylor Swift's Style with a truly superb South African flavour.
I awoke this morning to much activity on social media and when watching the video was astonished when I saw some of the footage from our last meeting included.
Mad love to you boys!
Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
This Mother's Day Jane and her family headed up into the Midlands for a taste of country life.
This Mother's Day was one for the books.
On Friday after work we scooped the kids up and headed off to Bellwood Cottages in Nottingham Road.
For as long as I can remember I have always wanted an opulent pair of headphones that would look and feel like dress up fun couture.
A pair that could represent my love and passion for fashion art, life, music, people and jewellery.
In their latest ad campaign, Dove has set out to prove that beauty is a choice - and the power of that choice is in your hands. So which door would you choose?
This is another profound and extremely poignant advert from Dove.
Taking pride in how you look is a reflection of the way you view yourself - and others.
I saw a beautiful quote recently. It went something like this: "being well dressed is a form of politeness". I so love this attitude and think it is bang on.
So funny, earlier this week I was chirped on Twitter that I was "trying to steal black fashion and claim it for my own".
Ha, I mean, ridiculous right!?

What an epic celebration at Our 6th East Coast Radio Durban Day yesterday! Hot sunny day full of great energy world class music and just all round radness. The Gangs of Ballet and I have had this long standing joke about my triangle playing 'skills' so we thought I should give it a go during the chorus of Don't let go. Yowza what a rush! I can so see why the rock star lifestyle is so exciting! Rock n Roll, Rock on! X
'IN YOUR SPACE' - ONLINE SOON from rooinooi pictures on Vimeo.
In March Mike and I after months of searching found our dream home. This home is a true testament that if you want something bad enough you will get it as this space is/ was our dream and an example of positive manifestation. From the parquet floors, stacking doors, beautifully leafy garden and pool....the list goes on. Not a day goes BY that we don't revel in our blessings. Welcome to our home x
Nothing like a last minute escape to The Windmills Resort in Notties. So beautiful there, our home away from home x
But first let me take a selfie-ha how epic!
The latest Frida inspired offering for the Durban July from my dearest friend Karen Monk-Klijnstra. What a sight to behold. Love you sunshine
If I was a chair! Wowza how insane is that fabric. Chair from Evolve Design Solutions. Pic taken by AJ Venter-shot bud x
Last night my first born gifted me with a bangle he made at holiday camp. My heart could have burst right open. I wear it with such pride and will treasure it forever ever.
I received a Facebook message from one of my longest standing friends Ross earlier today, man it made my day x
"I adore you lovely lady. We just tuned in from burma @ecr online. I'm sitting in a quaint coffee shop in an even quainter mountain village. locals bobbing along to the ecr beats! miss ya. love ya xxx

#100HappyDays is such a magnificent campaign, and it's been so wonderful seeing the positivity ripple across social media.
I sometimes wish I could post two pics a day!
Here are a few pics that I've posted so far.
So much to be grateful for x

I actually wept when I heard that this creative genius had passed away in his New York apartment apparently wearing a pair of shorts and t shirt and a needle out his arm. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is/ was hands down one of my favourite actors of all time. Every movie he is in I felt you could trust and his commitment was breathtaking. May it be a zany Along Came Polly moment, or a Duke special in The Boat that Rocked...The Savages....Jack went boating and of course award winning Capote.
Who would have thought that the two leading men some years ago for best actor-Heath Ledger and Phillip Seymour Hoffman would years later be gone having travelled the same dark road. If you are a fan of his work you will know that for the most part his characters were stitched together with melancholic tapestry.
Crazy that he was a few months away from staring in a comedy about a middle aged man in the pursuit of happiness. This picture was taken at the Sundance Festival in January, he didn't do any interviews but had this portrait taken. Rest in Peace Mr Hoffman. X
This Saturday I got to witness the true coming together of two humble, pure and just all round incredible souls. High school sweethearts Pat (Lambie) and Kate said their 'I do's' in front of a 300 strong-literally crowd. Springbok and Sharks players, coaches, friends and family packed into the MHS chapel for a sacred exchange between the two. It was then time to party and that we did-I played DJ to a very festive crowd until 3am. What a day full of love and celebration. Such love to you both Mr and Mrs Lambie, always xx
Toy Story hand out day is one of the happiest and most soul destroying days of my year.
The night before I was still tossing around at 2am, anxiously waiting for it to get light.
It is never easy seeing a child in such a state and even worse when the chair next to the bed is empty.
Having done the drop off many times before, I had prepared myself ahead of time but still had to find an empty hallway to sob my eyes out away from their little twinkly eyes as I handed them a brand new toy.
Today is a day we knew would come and with Tata's recent decline I thought I had prepared myself.
At 4am this morning I received an SMS from a friend to say Tata is gone.
I sobbed at the end of my bed as the night sky started to lighten and another day had begun, this time without our sacred Madiba.
Singer-songwriter and record producer Danny K sat down with Jane Linley-Thomas to talk about the "father of the nation", Nelson Mandela who has died at his Johannesburg home last night at the age of 95.
It's not every day you get to say you beat Chad Le Clos even if it was at go-karting:) what a treasure x
Some of the kind folk that gave up their time to answer the pledge lines-Matthew Mole, Parlotones,Christy from The Arrows, Gangs of Ballet and Patricia Lewis x
Always so lovely hanging out with the boys from Gangs of Ballet. Last week they joined me in studio for a chat and musical collaboration here take a listen.ps how's the triangle solo-pretty cool ha?! My quit my day job (naaaaaat;)
a few days before the big opskop between WP and the Sharks I got to catch up the delightful Pat Lambie aka Lambo..here take a listen......
Hanging out with the delightful Jimmy Nevis, what a super rad, warm and humble treat x
Most parents with small kids are no stranger to the name Melissa & Doug. Wow I am totally bowled over by this bright educational range of puzzles, stickers, toys and games. It really is sheer delight personified.
Today I got up close and personal with the Currie Cup.
I cant believe how heavy it is!
You always see the champions tossing it about like it is a toy, let me tell you I had some serious bicep shaking going down.
If pride had a face this is what it would look like. Big brother Cooper with his twin siblings Rocco and Lula.
Check out more of Hayley's beautiful work at www.hayleywalker.co.z
On Thursday great friends of ours in Cape Town welcomed their little love child Leo into the world. I spoke to Nina, his mom yesterday and you could literally hear the love oozing out her mouth. A parent's love for a child is something only a parent knows. It is the most intoxicating love.
Ask any Mum how much they love their child and you are in for a lengthily love gush of paramount proportion.
As I tell Cooper often he is my sacred gift, my example of love and I live my life to love and protect him. We have always spoken the same love language and we share a very tight and connected bond.
This past Saturday we celebrated Coopers 2nd year of being with a Stig racing party in a warm toasty winters garden.
You usually see totally ragged parents darting around the scene looking like they could murder a stiff drink.
Last week I went for my monthly scan with the lovely Dr Nagel. I must be honest after putting on 25 kgs last pregnancy I have been very nervous of stepping onto the bitchy scale apparatuses.
After a very successful 10 day appearance at the ECR House and Garden Show I found myself absolutely exhausted. I awoke on the Monday morning feeling so flattened I could hardly walk.Being 7 months pregnant (with twins), I was concerned for our wellbeing as I was in a lot of discomfort. After contacting Dr Nagel I was ordered to get into bed and take it easy.
My birthday came early. How is this canary yellow kettle and sky blue kettle! This just makes me want to sip and spread all day. Thank you Allan Hirsch for this spoil I am beyond delighted! Tea and toast anyone?
Usually on week ends while I am at work the boys hit the Spar in Sunningdale to get our quintessential breakfast items for our weekly family fry up. Mike being the cool good time guy always allows Coop to push his own mini trolley around the shop. I on the other hand when shopping with the small man thrust him into the trolley and speed around like a mad thing.
As a first time Mom getting a call from Coopers teacher the first of many I suspect, to say school is closed for the next few days due to a lice outbreak, the panic twinges and I wonder if I should sneak into his warm slumber room and start inspecting his angel hair with my cell phone torch...
"You may have thought you heard me say I wanted a lot of bacon and eggs, but what I said was: Give me all the bacon and eggs you have."
Another two love children to add to our home of love and warmth. You can imagine how gobsmacked I was when I saw 2 little beings actively wriggling in the scan. Each day that passes and I fall more and more in love with the idea of welcoming these blessings into our hearts.
This photo was taken backstage at Jozi Fashion week. After hair, make up and numerous trips to the ladies it was time to hit the ramp in a KMK creation. Back stage at a fashion show is exactly what you would expect. A room full of beautiful yet hungry looking people flashing boobs, bums and toned perfection all manically tearing around.
Photographic student Christy Holmes popped into the studio last week end to take a few snaps of her early morning subject. This was day 2 of our new play out system hence the deep concentration. Operation side step dead air at all costs.
How totally rad are these leather Froggie sneaks!
If David Kramer and Evita had leather babies this is what they'd look like.
If you were blessed enough to go on holiday by this stage it already seems like a distant memory. The start to the year is kind of like plodding along on a runaway treadmill while wearing a pair of killer red stilettos.
You know a serious holiday has been had when you walk around in a daze unsure of the time and what day of the week it is.
On Wednesday night it was our East Coast Radio Christmas Party.
As you can see dressing up is something I adore to do.
The theme was Circ de Soleil and with my wonder team I bagged one of the best dressed prizes bebe!
How epic is this place!
Pure KZN bliss. The food and service are as good as the view.
Check out www.signaturelifehotels.com for other magnificent getaway escapes.
I have wished for a bling gold watch hip hop style for almost ever.
Look what arrived in the post yesterday!
Ari Gold eat your heart out!
This pic was snapped of Cooper and I broadcasting live from the Amashova Durban Classic on Sunday. Good times.
Today is the perfect day to shine some love on the ladies.
Here is your chance to win your very own WRAP STAR NAILZ home kit.
Jen and Dom from Wrap Star Nailz have changed the way I do my nails for good.
I have always loved bright and fun nails but found the process a bit of a hack.
Look what arrived in the post today.
Nothing like a big box arriving at your door on a soaking Monday morning.
Nixon is a name that needs no introduction.
How creatively delicious is this " I feel good today" wall art. It forms p/art of the Erste Liebe /coffee-spot/lunch-break/bar in Hamburg.
Erste Liebe means first love in German.
The romantic in me has a grand idea.
A few birthdays ago I gave Mike a gorgeous black and white beach cruiser.
It now lives in the garage in-between boxes of my vintage clothing and could well be resurrected and made into living art.
Not sure he would feel my sentiments maybe if I painted "You make my heart go bOOm" I could get away with it?
It was obvious that a blue Monday would be lurking after such a blissful escape to The Hilton Arts Festival.
The adventure started on Thursday afternoon with a car trip adventure to The Protea Hotel Hilton. The last time I was there was about 3 years ago for a friends wedding and I found more then one pubic hair out and about in our shabby bedroom and bathroom.
This morning I got to catch up with lovely Farryl live in studio.
How rad is our version of A Million Grains of Sand.
I played a 4/2 in F. Ha muso talk.
To be honest I just gave it stick literally.
